Aspiration Creation Elevation Building a change from within

About us...

Aspiration Creation Elevation CIC empowers disadvantaged young people through projects & programmes that offer Arts Activities, Role-Model Guidance & Inspirational Experiences. ACE looks beyond the surface of what today's youth face, realising that there is a systematic cycle to which many young people fall into, through no fault of their own. This is a cycle of inequality, low aspirations, and negativity, which will ultimately have damaging effects on following generations.

Our Sessions and Services...

Pushing Talent and Postive paths

Our targeted sessions aimed at maturing youngsters with exceptional abilities and supporting youths who are facing adverse challenges. We believe that everyone can achieve, that’s why we provide unique mentoring sessions for young people, helping them to realise their potential. We set achievable goals in a safe, fun and friendly environment that supports young people to be creative and expressive. Each programme is designed to meet the specific needs of the individual. A young person must be referred to access this provision.

More than music

We believe the best growth happens when working with freedom. Our weekly drop-in sessions allow youths to engage with us in the best way that suits them. This level of provision can often act as the gateway for young people to further their interests in positive activities and progression routes. These sessions will also be propped-up by weekly fun & educational trips during school holidays. Just turn up and get stuck in!

Meet The Team...

Aspiration Creation Elevation CIC (ACE) was set up in April 2013 by three young music-mentoring professionals.

Partners...

We work with a range of different organisations across Bristol to provide services and care for young individuals. There is a mix of things that can be accessed to make a contribution to change within the community. We are grateful to be apart of a wonderful team, helping shape the future generation.

MAKING TRACKS

Making Tracks is a life-changing music-making project delivered by Trinity, Basement Studios and ACE - we work with young people from all different backgrounds and ages, who may be struggling with confidence, behaviour, health, well-being or other personal circumstances. We deliver 1-2-1 and small group music-making sessions, tailored for individual need, in music production, vocals and instruments. We take referrals directly (call, email or visit us for more information)

TARGETED YOUTH SERVICES (TYS)

At the Creative Youth Network, they have experienced youth workers who provide support and advice, no matter what your situation or background is. Tackling obstacles together, whether that is mental health issues, housing, family breakdowns or struggling at school. We provide One: One and small group sessions that revolve around positive activities and guidance support. Referrals are taken through CYN, for more information CLICK on the image above!

OTHER PARTNERSHIPS AROUND THE CITY...

Our History

In 2013, amongst heavy community investment cuts, Darren Alexander, Cherelle Grant and Hans Soghe formed ACE. This unique organisation was first set up to continue to deliver arts activities to young people in east-central Bristol's disadvantaged communities, but it quickly became an enterprise with a bigger mission: supporting young people to tackle barriers preventing them from fulfilling their potential in life, which it has since won awards.
