Happy Birthday ACE
Today we celebrate 3 years of business.

Like a Phoenix that rose from the fire ACE was born in extreme times of change.
The youth service was being commissioned to big organisations, Docklands Youth Centre was at threat of loosing important and needed youth provisions.
Three years ago the young people in St Pauls that had been using the services and more importantly had made positive relations with ourselves where being threatened with not having a fun, safe and educational space filled with great resources and positive role models. Their only other option being led into a life of crime and negativity.
That’s when ACE was born
To keep the needed services and support for young people in St Pauls and three years later we are still running strong, using creative arts activities as a vehicle to mentor, educate & inspire young people towards becoming positive members of their community.
This type of engagement to disadvantaged young people can provide the needed inspiration, empowerment & positivity to implement cohesion & growth within their communities.
ACE look beyond the surface of what today’s disadvantaged youths face:
- A cycle of inequality
- Low aspirations
- Negativity
- High risk of criminal record before 18
Which ultimately have damaging affects on families, communities & even societies.
As a Community Interest Company, we feel it’s crucial that we operate on multiple fronts, which all contribute towards our overarching aim of reaching more people and provide a wider range of positive community activities.
Our work in the community is the primary focus of our organisation. It is the direct route to reaching our ultimate vision. These vital services are mostly sustained by funding grants to carryout the work.
We hope to sustain & expand our community work through increasing our commercial and commissioning profits to reinvest.
